You bought a pair of shoes on sale without trying them on. When you got home, you realized that the shoes were too small. Go back to the shoe store and try to convince the clerk to let you exchange them for another pair that is one size larger.

un acidente en la escuela - (el 15 de enero)

You are a kindergarten teacher. Call the parents of a child and tell them that the child has had a small accident at school. S/he fell in a mud puddle on the playground and got his/her clothes muddy. Say that the child was not hurt, but h/she cried. Tell the parent that you took the child to the nurse's office and got him/her a cookie and some milk to calm them down. Ask the parent to come to the school and bring some clean clothes for the child.
